Caroline is a bit of a perfectionist especially when it comes to her wedding day which is great as I'm the personification of the '11th hour' man!!
About John
John is going to get such a suprise on our wedding day as he knows nothing about what is happening with it so far just that he has to do a big speech about how much he loves me!!
How they met
We met through John's sister when I was 15 and he was 20 (luckily my parents were open minded!!!). We have been going out officially though since I was 18 and will celebrate our 8th anniversary this September.
The proposal
John proposed to me in a car park in Bloomfield Hotel in Mullingar after our friends' Paddy & Lola Brogan's wedding on Friday the 7th July 2006! It was a big suprise especially when I saw a box and it was an even bigger suprise when he opened it to reveal the ring of my dreams! We headed straight back into the wedding reception to tell all of John's family and friends. The next day my brother Martin married his wife Geraldine so it was a perfect opportunity for an additional reason to celebrate! The picture above is from that day in Cabra Castle where the reception was held.
